My Boots Are Talking…

Have you ever heard your clothes talk to you before? I mean really call out to you to tell you things like hey it’s time to buy a new one I’m worn out! Or hey It’s time to wear me again, you are the perfect size for me again! Maybe even say it’s that LOVELY TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! Yea that’s the one i’m hearing right now for my lovely boots. I love boots but boots have never been easy to find when you have big muscular legs. I have always had big muscular legs since I can remember. Even as a kid my mom had to buy ankle boots because anything bigger just would not zip or stretch past a certain point. She kept me in cute things. I remember always loving boots and I had these red boots that had the stamp “made in Yugoslavia” on the bottom. I loved those boots. They were suede boots. I wore them all the time. They had a little 1 inch heel on them and I just knew I was cute at all of about 5 years old. That was the most fashionable I ever was. That was the last time I could remember being girly and loving it before I being in the 8th grade attempting this again (failing miserably) and just giving up until about a year ago and finally succeeding.

Boot are my thing! Even during my tomboy driven life I loved boots. All types. Last year I finally found 2 stores (1 in particular) that sold boots for women with large feet and large calves. I was thrilled. I bought some in gray and when I am ready this year I will buy a pair in black or brown. I also have in different styles a pair of ugg like brown boots and some black boots that come up pretty high as well. I am in boot heaven. I need to begin replacing a few and adding to my collection this year though but I am excited to say it is finally that time of year again. I buy during off season so they are cheaper and enjoy during the on season. But don’t get me wrong if there is a great sale like I get at Torrids I will get them during the on season. I tend to get a lot of BOGO or spend $100 and get 50 off so basically I got 1/2 of my purchase for spending $100 in the store. It’s a perk I get because I am a email member that comes every so often and they call it haute cash. It works and I tend to rack up during this time getting 2 pair of shoes then. And I was never a shoe person, LOL. Or Buying something I have needed for a while like some jeans and some shoes. In others words I treat myself during these lovely times. So right now the boots are talking and I think I will listen. I will wear them with pride right into that store and ge them some companions, LOL.

Yes Torrids is an amazing little store. I love them! And they tend to have great deals year-round! Including right now which is where I am going this week to get 2 new pair, LMBO.

Hehehe I was the same way. Plus with MG I had a tough time getting mine on and off by myself for a while and now I am in love because now that I am stable I am a boot loving fanatic again.
